LIVESCAN PROGRAM
Certain members of the campus community are required by law or by University
policy to be fingerprinted. This includes individuals in critical positions and
individuals seeking professional licensing. To meet this need, the UCSF Police
Department offers LiveScan Fingerprinting service to members of the campus
community. LiveScan records an individual's fingerprints and submits them
electronically to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI. The
DOJ normally sends a response to the requesting agency within three - five
business days.
