DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN

All campus Departments and their affiliated sites are required to prepare Emergency Action Plans. A Department Emergency Action Plan will address preparedness measures and priority actions from small accidents to city-wide disasters. Your Department’s Emergency Action Plan (EAP) will include the following:

• Personnel roster
• Inventory of emergency supplies
• Evacuation Plan and exits/routes
• Special staff assignments/needs list
• Location of your Emergency Evacuation Assembly Areas 
• Plan for salvaging important data and research
• An assigned Department Emergency Coordinator/Committee
• Emergency communication and after hours notification plan
